The NDDA Seeks 2 New Board Members!

The Nederland Downtown Development Authority (NDDA) seeks two additional members to join the Board. The goal of the NDDA is to promote economic development and infrastructure improvements in the NDDA downtown district. Current NDDA projects are cited in the “NDDA 2017 Master Plan” and the “2005 NDDA Plan of Development.” For your reference, both documents are available for review on the NDDA website: www.nederlanddowntown.org

Applicants must be either a property owner or business lessee operating within the Downtown Development district. Board members serve four-year terms. NDDA board meetings are held at the Nederland Community Center on the second Wednesday of each month starting at 6:00 p.m.

Applications are due by December 5. 2019. NDDA board members will review candidate applications at their December 11, 2019 meeting and provide recommendations of viable candidates to the Board of Trustees (BOT). The BOT will appoint two applicants to the DDA at their December 17, 2019 meeting starting at 7pm. Applicants are encouraged to attend both meetings

Interested parties should complete an application and return it to the Town Clerk, Miranda Fisher. Applications can be submitted via email at townclerk@nederlandco.org, in person at Town Hall, 45 West First St., or through postal mail at Town Hall, P.O. Box 396, Nederland, CO 80466.
