THE NEDERLAND DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES PEAK TO PEAK BUSINESS NETWORKING AND EDUCATION PROGRAM.
Boulder County’s Economic Development program awarded the Peak to Peak’s Tourism and Recreation Program (TARP) a grant, administrated by the Nederland Downtown Development Authority (NDDA), to create a series of networking and free, or low-cost, educational workshops and trainings for businesses and their employees across Western Boulder County and the Peak to Peak region. The goal of the program is to bring training and information on technology, financial best practices and social media to business owners and their employees. The networking events will give small and home-based businesses – including artists, craftspeople and non-profits – an opportunity to learn about and support each other.
This first event will be on Thursday, August 17 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the NedHub at 80 Big Springs Drive in Nederland. Attendees will network and explore ideas on the trainings and workshops that would be beneficial for companies in the Peak to Peak region. Representatives from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Colorado Disaster Recovery Program* will also be on hand to answer questions about business programs and resources available. Businesses of all types and sizes invited to attend. Wine, beer and appetizers to be served. No charge.
